COA & Quality Standards

What ENCODEX tests, how those results are recorded, and what a Certificate of Analysis does and does not tell you. This document describes our quality process; it is not a warranty of research outcomes.

1. One standard, every market

Every ENCODEX product passes the same quality process regardless of the market it is finally delivered in. Regional fulfillment changes how quickly an order arrives; it does not change how the product was made, tested, or documented.

That process has four stages: GMP manufacturing, independent U.S. laboratory verification, temperature-controlled regional distribution, and local fulfillment.

2. Manufacturing

Products are produced in GMP-compliant pharmaceutical facilities using precision peptide synthesis, pharmaceutical-grade raw materials, validated manufacturing systems and lyophilization.

3. Independent verification

Production batches undergo analytical verification by an independent laboratory that does not sell peptides. Testing is performed using HPLC and LC-MS instrumentation.

Verification covers:

  • identity — that the compound is what the label says it is
  • purity — measured against our ≥99% specification
  • peptide content
  • molecular weight
  • batch consistency

Purity alone does not confirm identity, which is why both are tested. A result that fails specification does not reach the distribution network.

4. What a Certificate of Analysis covers

Where available, a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis records:

  • the product and its batch or lot identifier
  • the analytical methods used
  • the measured purity result
  • identity confirmation
  • the date of analysis

A COA describes the batch it was issued for and no other. Any representative certificate shown on this Website is an example of the format, not a report on the product you receive.

5. What a Certificate of Analysis does not cover

A COA is a record of laboratory analysis at the point of testing. It is not a statement about how the material behaves in your experiment, and it is not evidence of suitability for any application outside laboratory research.

It also cannot speak to what happens after delivery: storage, handling and reconstitution are outside our control and are the customer’s responsibility.

6. Cold chain

Verified batches are held in temperature-controlled storage and dispatched in insulated packaging appropriate to the transit time. Shipping conditions beyond our control may still affect package temperature; deliveries should be inspected promptly on receipt.

7. Availability of reports

Availability of laboratory reports varies by product and by production batch. Where a report exists for the batch you received, it can be requested through customer support with your order number.

8. Research use only

Nothing in this document alters the Research Use Only status of ENCODEX products. Quality testing establishes what is in the vial; it does not imply that the contents are suitable for human or veterinary use. See the Research Use Only Disclaimer.
